01 / The city

Life in the city

The city runs on its own economy. Flats, cars, phones, businesses, and the paperwork that comes with each. Money is hard to earn and easy to lose, which is what makes it worth something.

No whitelist and no application. If the city has a free slot, you are in. It restarts once a day at about 11am UK time and the rules are the same for everyone.

02 / Gangs

Gangs run the postcode

Early in your first session someone has the placement conversation with you: which gang suits you, or which job if the other side of the city is more your thing. It is a chat, not a form. By the end of it you have people, a postcode, and a reason to log back in tomorrow.

Crews rise week by week by putting the work in on the streets. Colours mean something here, so when you are in, everyone can see it.

Money is hard to earn and easy to lose. The same rules apply to everyone. That is what keeps the stories honest.

03 / Work

The city hires

Police, NHS ambulance crews, eleven player-run garages and more than thirty walk-up jobs on the Job Centre board. Every job has real tools and a real wage.

Some residents never touch the other side of the city, and that is a respectable way to live here.

After dark

Nightly events, seasonal drops, and staff who play in the same city you do. Between sessions the city talks on Discord, and anything bigger than a restart is announced there first.

06 / How to join

Three things get you there

The join page, with the connect command

Step 01: Get FiveM
GTA V on PC (a legitimate copy; the Steam, Rockstar or Epic version all work) and the FiveM client, free from fivem.net. No whitelist and no application.
Step 02: Connect
Install FiveM and let it find your GTA V install. Click the connect button, or press F8 in FiveM and paste the connect command. You load in. That is the whole process.
Step 03: Get placed
You arrive with nothing and that is deliberate. Early on you get the placement conversation: which gang suits you, or which job, sorted before you wander off alone.

The city is open.

No whitelist. If the city has a free slot, you are in, and someone has the placement conversation with you early in your first session.
